Situated just off the N4 between Malelane and Komatipoort, Lowhills is the perfect location from which to experience the multiple attractions of the Kruger Park, Mozambique, Swaziland and the Mpumalanga Lowveld.

Roaming on this conservancy is a large variety of game including lion, elephant, elusive leopard, and an abundance of rhino, as well as myriad other games such as hippo, hyena, giraffe, nyala, kudu and waterbuck. Smaller animals such as warthog, duiker, impala, naturally abound, with zebra and wildebeest making Lowhills a nature lovers paradise.

Johann Möller, owner of Lowhills, has managed the Lowhills hunting outfit since 1985, when he returned from military service in South West Africa.

One of the most experienced professional hunters in the province, he has hunted from the Arctic to Central Europe, published several articles in international hunting magazines, and served as chariman of the Mpumalanga Professional Hunters Association. History and photography are Johann’s main iterests besides hunting. He was awarded “Businessman of the Year” by the provincial capital Chamber of Commerce. He is fluent in English, Afrikaans and Swazi and has a good working knowledge of German. Johann invites you to share his wealth of experience of the bush and considerable knowledge of local customs and culture


Lowhills Camp

Main Camp
The Lowhills Main Camp is set in the magnificent African bush and consists of comfortable stone and hatch cottage, a lounge, dining room and trophy room. Guests can relax next to the pool, or stroll amongst the indigenous trees and cycads which attract numerous birds, bushbabies and genets. At night you can sit around a campfire in the boma, listening to the sounds of the African night. Enjoy a sumptuous meal under the bright Southern Cross. (Special diets are also catered for)

All cottages are attractively furnished in unique character and equipped with en-suite bathrooms, overhead fans, air conditioners and fireplaces for cold winter evenings.

Bush Lodge
This guest house is a double-storey thatched cottage, with four bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms, a living room and a fully equipped kitchenette. This cottage is separate from the main camp, yet only a couple of minutes from the main camp, where the swimming pool and meals can be enjoyed.
